Who We Are
PETR INDUSTRIE MONTAGE, commonly referred to as PIM, is a Czech metal fabrication and industrial assembly company focused on custom steelwork, on-site installation, and technical support for construction and manufacturing projects. We work on everything from gates, staircases, railings, and structural steel to industrial conveyors, machinery installations, platforms, and custom-made components. Our strength is combining workshop production with practical on-site experience across the Czech Republic and Europe.

Our History
PETR INDUSTRIE MONTAGE was founded in 2018 by Drahomír Petr, an experienced craftsman who spent many years working on industrial and mechanical projects across Europe, the United States, and Africa.
With a background in metal fabrication, machinery maintenance, and industrial assembly, he built a reputation as a practical problem-solver who could handle difficult situations with precision, experience, and common sense. Over time, a reliable team formed around him, leading to the creation of PETR INDUSTRIE MONTAGE.
In its early years, the company focused mainly on industrial assembly and maintenance of presses, conveyors, and processing technologies, especially within the wood-processing industry. Alongside these projects, the company gradually expanded into custom steel fabrication and structural metalwork.
Despite the challenges of the COVID period, the company continued to grow. However in April 2022, founder Drahomír Petr unexpectedly passed away. The company was subsequently taken over by his daughter, Lucie Sobotková, who decided to continue building on her father’s work and values.
Another major setback came in early 2023, when a fire completely destroyed the company’s workshop, equipment, tools, and operational facilities used for both metal fabrication and industrial maintenance activities. The company temporarily relocated to Jihlava before moving in late 2024 to its current base in Polná.
Today, PETR INDUSTRIE MONTAGE continues to combine industrial assembly, maintenance, and custom steel fabrication under one roof — built on practical experience, adaptability, and reliability.
Our Facility
Our facility in Polná combines metal fabrication, project preparation, industrial maintenance support, and assembly operations under one roof. The workshop is designed around practical day-to-day production — from custom steel structures and welded assemblies to preparation for industrial installations and field projects across the Czech Republic and Europe. Rather than focusing on mass production, we focus on flexibility, reliability, and the ability to adapt to different technical requirements and customer needs.
